World Football Update
Feature Matches
The Bulldog will be the host of Budweiser's World Cup Street Party, with the festivities kicking off June 12th, and wrapping up with a massive party to celebrate the Final on July 13th!  Every USA game day will have a special event, with a jumbotron showing the matches.  This includes the largest screen in the State for USA v Germany on June 26th, and for the World Cup Final on July 13th!  If you can't be in Brazil, do the next best thing, and join the month long festival at the Bulldog in celebration of the World's game!
Highlight matches this week include two USMNT Friendlies, and our Colorado Rapids are at home against the Houston Dynamo Sunday evening!    We start the game week with a big Tuesday evening, as Jurgen Klinsmann's men face Azerbaijan in a World Cup tune up match.  Kickoff is at 8pm, and $5 20oz Carlsbergs are on special throughout the match!  Get in early to enjoy some of the Sporting K.C. v New York Red Bulls match!
We have a big Sunday to look forward to at the Pub, with the USMNT back in action against Turkey at noon.  Directly following that match buses start running up to DSG for theRapids v Dynamo fixture!  A perfect day to support your National Team and Club Team in one fell swoop!
There are plenty of other International Friendlies throughout the week, so be sure to stop in and soak up some of the lead up action to the Cup!
On the Horizon
Next week the World Football in Film Festival kicks off Thursday night!  The USMNT wrap up their pre Cup Friendlies against Nigeria, and the Rapids are at home to Chicago mid week!  We also have a very special event planned for satuurday night at the Lions, with former USMNT player Steve Trittschuh presenting a World Cup 90' Slide Show prior to theColorado Rapids taking on Dallas!  After the match we are all heading over to Denver Film Society to enjoy a special screening of the infamous football flick "Victory"!

World Football in Film Festival June 5th-8th: The Three Lions, in conjunction with Denver Film SocietyAmerica SCORES Denver, and Soccer Electric present a four day film festival celebrating the World's game.  From our opening night "Black Cleat Affair" , to a special (post Rapids match) Saturday night viewing of the legendary football film Victory, the WFFF has something for every fan of the game.  The festival will be held at the Denver Film Society's Sie Film Center, which is right down the street from Three Lions.   Tickets are on sale, and are available on the DFS website:
