World Football Update - Mar 12th 2012

Feature Matches 3/12-3/18 


     Our weeks action begins today with twogreat matches.  First Arsenal host Newcastle United, andthen Portland open their season against Philadelphia later in theevening.  Tuesday and Wednesday are Champions League days with theadditional morsel of the Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton. A few MLS teams find themselves in CONCACAF Champions League play on Wednesdaynight, with the prospect of elimination part of the equation.


    Its St. Pattys weekend and the day will befilled with EPL, FA Cup Quarterfinals, La Liga, MLS, and Serie A, with theadded bonus of England taking on Ireland in the Six Nations Rugbytournament.  Sunday, our Colorado Rapids travel toPhiladelphia to take on the Union.  The match kicks off at 2pm, and the wewill be hosting an away game viewing parties.  See details!


On the Horizon


    EnglishPremier League, CONCACAF Champions League, and La Liga are the midweek fare,with Chelsea v Spurs and Colorado v Philadelphia the highlight matches nextweekend.  In the evenings we will be carrying the NCAA basketballtournament, and plenty of MLS action!
